Obverse
The obverse design on the 1 Gram PAC-MAN 45th Anniversary Gold Bar brings the action of the original game to life. With its easy controls and fast pace, the game pulled players in right away and became a staple in arcades for decades.
Reverse

History
PAC-MANs story started in Japan in May 1980, where it first appeared as Puck Man. Later that year, Midway Games introduced the North American version in October 1980. Designer Toru Iwatani developed PAC-MAN to stand apart from the space and combat titles common at the time, hoping to make something upbeat and friendly that would welcome a wider range of players.
