The Charlotte Bobcats joined the NBA as an expansion team in 2004, and in 2014, the Hornets name returned to Charlotte after the New Orleans team became the Pelicans. Each 1 oz Colorized NBA Charlotte Hornets Silver Round is available in Brilliant Uncirculated condition and housed in a protective flip. The NBA Silver Round Collection offers BU and colorized editions for all 30 teams, each sharing the same NBA reverse.
Obverse
The obverse of the Colorized NBA Charlotte Hornets Silver Round shows the current team logoa forward-facing hornet with wings outstretched and its stinger aimed ahead. The design uses teal, purple, and white to reflect the teams signature look.
Reverse
On the reverse of the 1 oz Colorized Charlotte Hornets Silver Round, the NBA logo is displayed. The image depicts a basketball player dribbling inside a rectanglea design that has symbolized the league for decades.
History
Between 1993 and 2002, the Hornets reached the playoffs seven times, achieving some of their best seasons in the late 1990s. Although they never advanced to the conference finals, those years featured talented teams led by stars such as Larry Johnson, Alonzo Mourning, and Baron Davis.

In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
