Obverse
On the obverse of the Colorized NFL Pittsburgh Steelers Silver Round, youll find the teams familiar Steelmark logo shown in vivid color. First created in 1962, the Steelmark includes three four-pointed starsyellow, red, and blueset around the word Steelers. The teams official colors, black and gold, represent the citys long connection to the steel industry.
Reverse
The reverse of the 1 oz Colorized Pittsburgh Steelers Silver Round showcases the official NFL shield. The logo displays the league initials and a football above them, with two sets of four stars positioned below to represent both the AFC and NFC.
History
The Steelers were founded in 1933 by Art Rooney Sr. and first competed under the name Pittsburgh Pirates before becoming the Steelers in 1940. The early years brought limited success, with the team not winning a playoff game until 1972. That changed dramatically under coach Chuck Noll in the 1970s, when the clubs Steel Curtain defense led Pittsburgh to four Super Bowl wins between 1974 and 1979.

In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. Most BGASC orders are shipped within one (1) business day of your payment clearing. Payments made via PayPal clear instantly. Bitcoin payments clear instantly once the transaction is confirmed. Credit Card and bank wire payments process within 1 business day. ACH and paper check payments take 3-5 business days. Once payments are processed, products are released to fulfillment for packaging and shipping.
All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
