{{/presale}} {{#promotion_on}}Professional rodeo emerged from the authentic working environment of the American West, where cowboys routinely practiced cattle handling, bronc riding, and roping as part of ranch labor. These skills eventually led to small-scale competitions among ranch hands in the late 1800s, with the town of Deer Trail, Colorado, in 1869 often recognized as hosting the first organized rodeo. Today, the sport has grown into a multimillion-dollar industry that maintains Western cultural traditions and includes events such as bull riding, barrel racing, steer wrestling, and tie-down roping. Right now, 1 oz Reverse Proof Texas Mint Cody Webster Silver Rounds are available at BGASC.
Highlights:
Each 1 oz Reverse Proof Texas Mint Cody Webster Silver Round is individually packaged in a capsule and presentation box, complete with an orange Texas Precious Metals outer shipper. The reverse-proof style combines mirrored highlights with frosted details to bring depth and definition to each image.
Obverse
The obverse of the Reverse Proof Texas Mint Cody Webster Silver Round displays Webster standing confidently within the arena. The border design includes a rope pattern along the outside and a spur-inspired inner frame. His name is placed across the center, and the W rises to form the horns of a bull a detail that connects directly to his profession.
Reverse
The reverse of the 1 oz Reverse Proof Cody Webster Silver Round presents an action-packed scene of a bullfighter doing his job. Bullfighters are key figures in rodeo safety, stepping in after each ride to protect the cowboys by diverting the bulls focus. Their role demands both skill and bravery, as they often put themselves in danger to shield others.
History
Cody Websters career began early, and he quickly became known for his commitment to rodeo safety and his professionalism in the ring.
