Every note features detailed artistic designs and contains a carefully measured fractional amount of real gold. This structure makes Goldbacks one of the few modern currency products that incorporate gold intended for spending. The program began in Utah and has gradually expanded into additional states, pairing the lasting value of precious metals with a format meant for everyday exchange. The Idaho Goldback marks the newest release in the series and introduces another denomination while continuing the use of artwork tied to the state. The 100 Idaho Goldback Gold Note represents the highest denomination available in the Idaho issue. Each note is packaged individually inside a protective plastic sleeve to maintain its condition. Goldbacks are produced with multiple built-in security features, including UV-reactive elements, fine micro-printing, and individual serial numbers that assist with authentication.
Design
On the design of the 100 Idaho Goldback Gold Note, Libertas is shown walking toward the viewer while holding a shovel. She moves across a field with the dramatic Shoshone Falls visible behind her. Located along the Snake River in Idahos Magic Valley near Twin Falls, Shoshone Falls plunges roughly 212 feet. This drop makes it nearly 50 feet higher than Niagara Falls and one of the tallest waterfalls in North America. The falls extend nearly 1,000 feet wide at their broadest point and were formed thousands of years ago when the massive Bonneville Flood cut through ancient basalt lava flows roughly 14,500 years ago. For centuries, this powerful natural landmark held deep meaning for Indigenous communities of the region, including the Shoshone-Bannock tribes.
History

In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
