All of our 1854 Pre-33 $3 Indian Princess Gold Coins are available in Mint State 61 condition. While they may display diminished mint luster and exhibit minor contact marks, hairlines, and scuff marks within the design field, these coins are a true testament to their rich history.
Obverse
On the obverse of these coins, you’ll find a left-profile bust of Liberty adorned with an ornate, feathered headdress. This design showcases one of the earliest appearances of indigenous design themes on American coinage, making it even more captivating.
Reverse
The reverse side features a wreath encircling the date and face value of the coin. This “small dollar” design boasts a tighter enclosure of the wreath at the top, featuring wheat, corn, tobacco, and cotton. It’s a wonderful representation of the agricultural heritage of the United States.
