{{/presale}} {{#promotion_on}}Introduced in 1878, the Morgan Silver Dollar is one of the most recognizable coins in American history. Designed by US Mint Assistant Engraver George T. Morgan, the series marked the return of silver dollar production after several years on hold. Right now, 1882-CC Morgan Silver Dollar Coins in certified condition are available at BGASC.

Each 1882-CC Morgan Silver Dollar offered here has been graded Mint State 65 by the Professional Coin Grading Service. These coins feature a bright mint luster with light contact marks and no major imperfections in key areas. The overall appearance of an MS65 coin is considered highly attractive.
Obverse
The obverse of the 1882-CC Morgan Dollar Coin features the left-facing profile of Lady Liberty designed by George T. Morgan. Liberty wears a Phrygian cap to symbolize freedom, decorated with a laurel wreath and a coronet. Thirteen stars encircle her portrait, representing the original colonies.
Reverse
The reverse of the 1882-CC Morgan Silver Dollar features Morgans detailed image of a bald eagle. The eagle is shown without a national shield, grasping arrows in one talon and an olive branch in the other, symbolizing both strength and peace.
History
In 1882, the Carson City Mint produced 1,133,000 Morgan Dollars, one of its stronger totals for the series. Each coin bears the CC mint mark, identifying its origin at this historic Western mint. These coins were made during a period when the Comstock Lode silver mines were still active, providing much of the silver used for coinage. The 1882-CC issue remains a favorite among collectors who appreciate Carson City mint history.

In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
