The revival of silver dollar coining in 1878 marked a pivotal moment in the United States’ numismatic heritage with the iconic Morgan Silver Dollar Series. Despite a hiatus in 1873 due to Congressional legislation, silver dollars returned with a bang, and you can now own a certified 1884 Morgan Silver Dollar through BGASC.
Highlights:
All the 1884 Morgan Silver Dollars at BGASC are in Mint State 63 condition. Coins with this grade may display slightly impaired mint luster, along with small contact marks and scattered heavier marks. Some small hairlines may be visible without magnification.
Obverse
The obverse of the 1884 Morgan Dollar features a left-profile relief of Lady Liberty, adorned with a Phrygian cap, coronet crown, and laurel wreath in her hair.
Reverse
On the reverse side of 1884 Morgan Silver Dollar, George T. Morgan’s design showcases the heraldic eagle clutching the arrows of war and the olive branch of peace.
History
One of America’s greatest national symbols came to its shores in 1884. The cornerstone for the Statue of Liberty, a gift from France to the United States, was laid on Bedloe’s Island in New York Harbor on August 5, 1884. The statue was completed and dedicated on October 28, 1886.

For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
