{{/presale}} {{#promotion_on}}In 1878, the United States Mint released the Morgan Silver Dollar Series, introducing George T. Morgans fresh designs of Liberty and the bald eagle. This new coin helped restart silver dollar production after a five-year break. Morgan Dollars were made every year from 1878 to 1904 and returned once more in 1921 after World War I. Today, certified 1888-O Morgan Silver Dollar Coins are available through BGASC.
Highlights:
These 1888-O Morgan Silver Dollar Coins carry a Mint State 64 grade. In this grade, coins usually have good mint luster with several small groups of contact marks. Some coins might show one or two heavier marks or small patches of hairlines.
Obverse
The obverse of the 1888-O Morgan Silver Dollar shows Liberty facing left. George T. Morgan’s design presents her wearing a Phrygian cap, a laurel crown, and a coronet that reads “Liberty.” The design is surrounded by thirteen stars, a nod to the original thirteen colonies.
Reverse
On the reverse of the 1888-O Morgan Dollar Coin, youll see the bald eagle standing proudly with its wings spread wide. In its talons, the eagle holds both arrows and an olive branch, symbolizing strength and peace. A wreath wraps around the lower half of the image, and the national motto appears above.

In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
