Coin Highlights:
This 1890 Morgan Dollar Coin was struck with 90% genuine silver content by the United States Mint. The coins have also been certified by NGC, who awarded them a grade of Mint State 63. Each coin is housed in a sealed NGC slab that bears its official grade along with the brand logo.
Obverse
For the obverse of Morgan Silver Dollar Coins, a rendition of Lady Liberty is featured. This portrait was designed by George T. Morgan and is cited by many as his masterpiece. The obverse also contains inscriptions that read E Pluribus Unum, 1890.
Reverse
For the reverse of 1890 Morgan Silver Dollars an American eagle is shown. This iconic design was also created by Morgan, who studied real-life eagles while preparing his version of the motif. Reverse inscriptions read United States of America, In God We Trust, One Dollar.
History
In the U.S., production on Silver Dollars was paused following the Coinage Act of 1873. But in 1876, U.S. Mint director Henry Linderman began the process of re-designing the Silver Dollar. George T. Morgan, who was at the time the U.S. Mints Assistant Engraver, set to work on the potential obverse and reverse motifs for the coin. When production resumed in 1878, Morgans designs were chosen by Linderman, replacing the Seated Liberty that had been used the previous three decades.

In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. Most BGASC orders are shipped within one (1) business day of your payment clearing. Payments made via PayPal clear instantly. Bitcoin payments clear instantly once the transaction is confirmed. Credit Card and bank wire payments process within 1 business day. ACH and paper check payments take 3-5 business days. Once payments are processed, products are released to fulfillment for packaging and shipping.
All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
