Obverse
Lady Liberty, designed by George T. Morgan, graces the obverse. Shes portrayed in elegant left-profile relief wearing the Phrygian cap, coronet crown, and a laurel wreath. The design is complemented by 13 stars along the bottom. Inscriptions read E PLURIBUS UNUM, and 1904.
Reverse
The reverse features George T. Morgan’s iconic depiction of the heraldic eagle, with the majestic bald eagle in front-facing relief, clutching arrows, and an olive branch in its talons. Inscriptions read ONE DOLLAR, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, IN GOD WE TRUST.

The year 1904 holds immense importance in the Morgan Silver Dollar Series as it marks the final year of the initial annual release. Additionally, it signifies the last year the New Orleans Mint produced these coins.
