Obverse
For the obverse of Silver Standing Liberty Quarters, we find Lady Liberty holding a shield and an olive branch. Looking towards the East, she stands between two walls inscribed with the words In God We Trust. Additional inscriptions along the edge read Liberty, 1917.
Reverse
For the reverse of these Standing Liberty Quarters, a flying bald eagle is depicted. This magnificent design perfectly captures the birds beauty and majesty as it soars to the right. Inscriptions on the reverse read United States of America, E Pluribus Unum, Quarter Dollar.
History
The Standing Liberty Quarter was designed by Hermon Atkins MacNeil, an American sculptor from Massachusetts. In addition to this classic coin design, MacNeil also famously designed the Justice, the Guardian of Liberty sculpture on the U.S. Supreme Court buildings east pediment. The Standing Liberty Quarter was struck from 1916-1930 before being replaced by the Washington Quarter.

In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
