Each 1918 $1 Federal Reserve Bank Note offered here is in About Uncirculated condition. AU notes keep bright color and a crisp look overall, though they may show light folds, minor bends, or slight wrinkles. Notes in this listing will feature various bank names, but we cannot provide a specific bank upon request.
Obverse
On the obverse, the 1918 $1 Federal Reserve Bank Note displays President George Washingtons portrait at the center. Text and numbering identify the regional Federal Reserve Bank that printed each note.
Reverse
The reverse design features the $1 denomination framed by decorative scrollwork, along with patriotic symbols including the bald eagle and U.S. flag, printed in the familiar green ink associated with American currency.
History
Authorized by the Federal Reserve Act of 1913, these notes were issued by regional Federal Reserve Banks using U.S. government securities as backing. Unlike standard Federal Reserve Notes, Federal Reserve Bank Notes display the name of the issuing bank and unique serial formats. They circulated widely as legal tender while supporting currency needs during the war years.

In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
