Issued by the Chinese Mint, these coins are known for their annually changing panda designs. While the series now follows a metric weight system, earlier releases were struck in Troy-ounce denominations. Right now, 1985 1/4 oz Chinese Gold Panda Coins are available at BGASC.

Each 1985 1/4 oz Chinese Gold Panda Coin is housed in a sealed plastic pouch. This coin represents the fourth release in the Gold Panda Series and continues the tradition of introducing a new panda design each year. While modern Gold Pandas are struck in gram-based weights, this 1/4 oz edition remains a collectible piece from the series earlier years.
Obverse
On the obverse of 1985 Chinese Gold Panda Coins, you will find the Hall of Prayer for Abundant Harvests. This historic structure is the centerpiece of the Temple of Heaven complex in Beijing, a site where Chinese emperors once performed annual ceremonies to ensure successful harvests.
Reverse
The reverse of the 1985 1/4 oz Gold Panda Coin features a young panda cub grasping a bamboo shoot. Pandas are highly active as they grow, often playing, climbing, and interacting with their environment in ways that make them one of the most beloved animals in the world.
History
The 1985 Gold Panda design highlights the youthful energy of panda cubs. At birth, these tiny cubs are fragile and completely dependent on their mothers. As they grow, they develop playful behaviors such as climbing and swinging from bamboo, a moment beautifully captured in this years design.

When the subtotal of your purchase, including applicable discounts, is $199 or more, you receive free shipping for your entire order. In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. All products are discreetly packaged and shipped with full insurance included.
Most BGASC orders are shipped within one (1) business day of your payment clearing. Payments made via PayPal clear instantly. Bitcoin payments clear instantly once the transaction is confirmed. Credit Card and bank wire payments process within 1 business day. ACH and paper check payments take 3-5 business days. Once payments are processed, products are released to fulfillment for packaging and shipping.
All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
