These 2010 1 Kilo Proof Chinese Gold Panda Coins have been graded PF69 by NGC and are housed in protective plastic slabs. This near-perfect grade indicates original luster with just one or two very small marks outside the main design. As ultra-cameo coins, they feature frosted visuals set against shiny mirror fields.
Obverse
The obverse of the 2010 1 Kilo Proof Chinese Gold Panda shows the Hall of Prayer for Abundant Harvests, part of the Temple of Heaven complex in Beijing. This historic Taoist site is represented from a frontal view that includes the staircase leading up to the hall. Constructed in the early 1400s, the building remains a key landmark in Chinese history.
Reverse
For the reverse, this coin highlights a scene with two playful Giant Pandas. Although pandas typically keep to themselves, they are known to be quite active and curious, especially in safe and stimulating environments. Watching them interact playfully adds to their charm.
History
Much of a pandas day is spent eating bamboo. Their unique diet means they need large amounts of foodup to 40 pounds dailyto stay healthy. Pandas use a special adaptation called a pseudo-thumb, which is actually an extended wrist bone, to help them grasp bamboo while sitting upright.

In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
