Launched in 1988, it was the first coin to feature .9999 pure silver content, setting a high standard in the industry. Each year, the series has included a 1 oz Silver Maple Leaf Coin. Today, 2010 1 oz Canadian Silver Maple Leaf Monster Boxes are available from BGASC.

  • Reverse highlights the sugar maple leaf.

Each 2010 1 oz Canadian Silver Maple Leaf Monster Box includes 500 coins in total, all in Brilliant Uncirculated condition. The coins are organized into 20 tubes, with 25 coins in each tube, and packed securely in a Monster Box to preserve their condition.

Obverse

The obverse side of the 2010 Canadian Silver Maple Leaf features a right-profile portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. This design by Susanna Blunt was first introduced in 2003 and is notable for portraying the Queen without a crown.

Reverse

On the reverse of the coin is the sugar maple leaf. Walter Otts timeless design, created in 1979, captures the intricate details of Canadas iconic maple leaf and represents the countrys rich heritage.

History

The Royal Canadian Mint introduced the Maple Leaf Series in 1979 with the Gold Maple Leaf. Over time, this series grew to include a variety of weights and other precious metals, such as platinum and silver. The Silver Maple Leaf debuted in 1988, broadening the appeal of the Maple Leaf lineup.
