Each Monster Box from this listing holds a total of 500 coins in Brilliant Uncirculated condition. The Royal Canadian Mint ships the coins in a green Monster Box, with 20 individual tubes that each contain 25 coins.
Obverse
Queen Elizabeth II is featured on the obverse of the 2011 Canadian Silver Maple Leaf. The portrait shown is the 2003 design by Susanna Blunt, presenting the Queen in right-profile without a crown. This image marked the fourth time the Queens likeness had been updated for Canadian coinage.
Reverse
Walter Otts design of the sugar maple leaf appears on the reverse. First used in 1979, the leaf was an important cultural marker, especially after Confederation in 1867. That same year, the patriotic tune The Maple Leaf Forever gave even more significance to this iconic image.
History
The sugar maple leaf has long been a Canadian symbol. It gained early recognition in 1834 when the St. Jean Baptiste Society in Quebec adopted it as an emblem. By the 1850s, the maple leaf appeared on Canadian military insignia, and later became a widespread symbol of Canadian culture and independence.

In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
