Initially launched as a gold coin, it paid homage to the iconic 1921 Centenario coin, which influenced the creation of the series. Over the years, the series has grown to include several silver coins, with the Mexican Silver Libertad becoming one of the most popular modern bullion coin collections. Now, the 2012 1 Kilo Mexican Silver Libertad Coins are available at BGASC.

Each 2012 1 Kilo Mexican Silver Libertad Coin from BGASC is carefully packaged in a protective plastic capsule. The 1 Kilo Silver Libertad is the largest available in the Silver Libertad Series, with the 1/20 oz coin being the smallest. This size was first introduced in 2008, making this the fourth issue in the series.
Obverse
The obverse of the 2012 Mexican Silver Libertad showcases the Mexican national coat of arms. At the center is the modern version of the coat of arms, surrounded by 10 historic versions of the seal, all dating back to the Codex Mendoza from 1524, adding depth and historical significance to the design.
Reverse
On the reverse side, you’ll see Winged Victory. This figure is beautifully depicted as it appears atop the Mexican Independence Victory Column in Mexico City. The background shows the iconic volcanic peaks of Popocatepetl and Iztaccihuatl, adding a stunning natural landscape to the design.
History
The 1 Kilo Silver Libertads have traditionally seen some of the lowest mintages in the series. For example, the 2011 release had the highest mintage, with 6,000 coins sold. After the 2012 issue, the 1 Kilo size was discontinued in 2013 and 2014, adding to the rarity of this specific release.

When the subtotal of your purchase, including applicable discounts, is $199 or more, you receive free shipping for your entire order. In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. All products are discreetly packaged and shipped with full insurance included.
Most BGASC orders are shipped within one (1) business day of your payment clearing. Payments made via PayPal clear instantly. Bitcoin payments clear instantly once the transaction is confirmed. Credit Card and bank wire payments process within 1 business day. ACH and paper check payments take 3-5 business days. Once payments are processed, products are released to fulfillment for packaging and shipping.
All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
BGASC is only able to ship to addresses in any of the 50 US states. This includes P.O. boxes and APO addresses.
