Obverse
This 2015-W 4-Coin Proof American Gold Eagle Set features the same imagery on the obverse of each coin. Lady Liberty is seen walking towards the viewer holding a torch in one hand and an olive branch in the other. Inscriptions read LIBERTY, W, and 2015.
Reverse
Flip the coins in the 2015-W Proof American Gold Eagle Set, and you’ll find Miley Busieks depiction of a nurturing bald eagle family on the reverse. A mother eagle is seen with her hatchlings as a male eagle soars overhead. Inscriptions include UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, IN GOD WE TRUST, E PLURIBUS UNUM, and unique marks for the face value and metal content.
History
The Proof American Gold Eagle Series started in 1986, alongside the BU version of these coins. Just a 1 oz coin made its debut in 1986, with a fractional ounce weight debuting in 1987, followed by two more in 1988. These coins have been issued annually since their debut, except for 2009.

When the subtotal of your purchase, including applicable discounts, is $199 or more, you receive free shipping for your entire order. In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies.
