The series began in 1982 with a single coin and has grown into a broader lineup over the years. Today, the collection includes four fractional weights along with 1 oz, 2 oz, and 5 oz coins. Currently, 2019 5 oz Mexican Silver Libertad Coins in certified condition are available from BGASC.

These 2019 5 oz Mexican Silver Libertad Coins are graded Mint State 70 and come in protective slabs. This grade indicates the coins display full mint luster with no visible imperfections. In 2019, the 5 oz coin stood as the largest silver Libertad issued, with no 1-kilo coin produced that year.
Obverse
On the obverse of the 2019 Mexican Silver Libertad is the design reserved for coins of 1 oz and larger. At the center is the Mexican coat of arms, showing an eagle holding a serpent while perched on a cactus. Surrounding the image is the nations official name in Spanish and a wreath design. Along the outer edge, 10 earlier versions of the national seal appear in a circular arrangement.
Reverse
The reverse of the 2019 5 oz Silver Libertad Coin highlights Winged Victory. Behind her are the mountain peaks of Iztaccihuatl and Popocatepetl, located near Mexico City and associated with an ancient Aztec story. Also included are the OM mint mark and inscriptions identifying the coins weight, metal content, and purity. Winged Victory is shown in left-profile, raising a wreath above her head and holding broken chains in her other hand.
History
The Mexican Silver Libertad series expanded in 1991 with the introduction of fractional coins in 1/2 oz, 1/4 oz, 1/10 oz, and 1/20 oz. The lineup was further completed in 1996 with the addition of the 2 oz and 5 oz coins.

When the subtotal of your purchase, including applicable discounts, is $199 or more, you receive free shipping for your entire order. In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. All products are discreetly packaged and shipped with full insurance included.
Most BGASC orders are shipped within one (1) business day of your payment clearing. Payments made via PayPal clear instantly. Bitcoin payments clear instantly once the transaction is confirmed. Credit Card and bank wire payments process within 1 business day. ACH and paper check payments take 3-5 business days. Once payments are processed, products are released to fulfillment for packaging and shipping.
All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
