For the first time since the program began, the reverse design was changed, introducing a new flying bald eagle created by Emily Damstra. This update made the 2021 release especially notable for collectors. Certified 2021-W 1 oz Proof American Silver Eagle Coins are now available at BGASC.
Highlights:
These 2021-W 1 oz Proof American Silver Eagle Coins are certified PF70 by the Numismatic Guaranty Corporation and sealed in protective slabs. Each slab features a West Point Star label identifying the mint of origin. A PF70 grade confirms the coin shows full mint brilliance with no imperfections. UCAM coins display bold frosted details and mirrored background surfaces.
Obverse
The obverse of the 2021-W Proof American Silver Eagle features the long-running Walking Liberty design by Adolph A. Weinman. Liberty strides toward the rising sun, wrapped in the American flag. Weinmans signature now appears on the lower right of the obverse design.
Reverse
On the reverse of the 2021-W 1 oz Proof Silver Eagle is Damstras image of a bald eagle flying with an oak branch in its talons. The surrounding inscriptions list the coins denomination, weight, and purity.
History
During 2021, collectors saw both the Type 1 and Type 2 versions of the Silver Eagle. Type 1 coins were issued early in the year and carried John Mercantis heraldic eagle. In July, the Mint introduced the Type 2 coins with Emily Damstras new eagle design. This marked the first significant change to the reverse in the history of the series.

When the subtotal of your purchase, including applicable discounts, is $199 or more, you receive free shipping for your entire order. In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. All products are discreetly packaged and shipped with full insurance included.
Most BGASC orders are shipped within one (1) business day of your payment clearing. Payments made via PayPal clear instantly. Bitcoin payments clear instantly once the transaction is confirmed. Credit Card and bank wire payments process within 1 business day. ACH and paper check payments take 3-5 business days. Once payments are processed, products are released to fulfillment for packaging and shipping.
All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
