Her time on the throne lasted 70 years and 215 days, from her accession on February 6, 1952, following the passing of her father, King George VI, to her own passing on September 8, 2022.

This side of the coin features her royal initials, ERII, a 70th-anniversary mark, and a heraldic lion at the base.
