Each 2022 2 oz Canadian Silver Twin Maples Coin ships in a protective plastic flip. The design in this series offers a different perspective on the sugar maple leaf compared to other programs from the Royal Canadian Mint, including the Maple Leaf and SuperLeaf series.
Obverse
On the obverse of the 2022 Canadian Silver Twin Maples is the fourth-generation portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. Canadian artist Susanna Blunt created this right-profile relief, which was the final standard portrait of Her Majesty used on Canadian coins during her reign.
Reverse
The reverse of the 2022 2 oz Silver Twin Maples presents two maple leaves growing from a single stem. The maple leaf became a military emblem in World War I and gained even more national significance when it appeared on Canadas official flag on February 15, 1965.
History
In the 1700s, French Canadians embraced the maple leaf as a cultural emblem. The Saint-Jean-Baptiste Society made it an official symbol of French Canadian identity by the 1830s. When Queen Victorias son visited in 1860, Canadian children welcomed him wearing maple leaves, and the symbol soon represented Canadians as a whole.

In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
