Obverse
The obverse of the 2022-W American Silver Eagle displays the timeless Walking Liberty image by Adolph A. Weinman. Liberty strides toward the sun with the American flag draped over her shoulders, holding branches as a symbol of peace. The design continues to be a central feature of the Silver Eagle series.
Reverse
The reverse of the 2022 (W) American Silver Eagle presents the updated bald eagle design introduced in 2021. Created by Emily Damstra, the artwork shows the eagle soaring with wings extended while carrying an oak branch. The detailed perspective adds a refreshed look to the coins reverse.
History
The Burnished Silver Eagle was first introduced in 2006 as a special option within the American Silver Eagle lineup. It was designed with collectors in mind, offering a finish that falls between bullion and Proof coins. With more limited mintages and a distinct production process, the burnished version provides variety within one of Americas most popular silver coin programs.

When the subtotal of your purchase, including applicable discounts, is $199 or more, you receive free shipping for your entire order. In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
