Obverse
Queen Elizabeth II is on the obverse side of 2023 Australian Lunar Rabbit Gold Coins. This portrait is the final effigy of the Queen to feature on British, Australian, and many other Commonwealth coins. The design shows the Queen in right-profile relief at the age of 89 wearing the George IV State Diadem. Inscriptions ELIZABETH II, AUSTRALIA, 1/20 OZ 9999 AU, and 5 DOLLARS.
Reverse
For the reverse design of the 2023 Lunar Rabbit 1/20 oz Gold Coin, the Perth Mint features a new depiction of the rabbit for 2023. This design from Ing Ing Jong shows a rabbit running through a field. The inscriptions on this face of the coin read 2023, RABBIT, the Chinese symbol for a rabbit, and the P mint mark of Perth Mint.
History
Ing Ing Jong has worked for Perth Mint since 2011. The first design she created for lunar-themed collections at Perth came in the Lunar Series II programs Year of the Snake in 2013.

When the subtotal of your purchase, including applicable discounts, is $199 or more, you receive free shipping for your entire order. In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies.
