Obverse
The obverse of the 2023 British Gold Tudor Beasts Yale of Beaufort Coins is adorned with the image of Queen Elizabeth II. This exquisite depiction showcases Her Majesty in right-profile relief, aged 89, wearing the distinguished George IV State Diadem Crown. Designed by Jody Clark in 2015, this final effigy of Her Late Majesty embellishes British coins with elegance.
Reverse
The reverse design of the 2023 1 oz Gold Yale of Beaufort Coins showcases the powerful image of a Yale standing on its hind legs, supporting a shield. Adorning this shield are the Royal Arms of Jane Seymour, the third wife of King Henry VIII. Notably, Jane Seymour was the sole wife of the king to bear him a son, making this design historically significant.
History
Jane Seymour played a significant role in Henry VIII’s quest for a male heir. She became queen consort in 1536 and less than a year later, on October 12, 1537, she gave birth to their son Edward. Sadly, Jane Seymour passed away just twelve days after the birth due to complications arising from childbirth.

In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. Most BGASC orders are shipped within one (1) business day of your payment clearing. Payments made via PayPal clear instantly. Bitcoin payments clear instantly once the transaction is confirmed. Credit Card and bank wire payments process within 1 business day. ACH and paper check payments take 3-5 business days. Once payments are processed, products are released to fulfillment for packaging and shipping.
All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
