Obverse
Queen Elizabeth II is on the obverse of 2023 Colorized Canadian Silver Maple Leaf Coins. Her Majesty is shown in right-profile relief in the 2003 depiction created by Susanna Blunt. This is the final issue of the coins with Her Majestys effigy following her death in September 2022.
Reverse
A sugar maple leaf is on the reverse side of 2023 1 oz Colorized Silver Maple Leaf Coins. Walter Ott created this design in 1979 and it has been featured on all of the coins in this series since that time. The sugar maple leaf is the national emblem of Canada.
History
These colorized coins bring the image of the sugar maple leaf to life with all of the seasons represented. The maple leaf is a rich green color at the center, with the colors transitioning from yellow to orange and red around the outermost edges of the leaf.

When the subtotal of your purchase, including applicable discounts, is $199 or more, you receive free shipping for your entire order. In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies.
