Morgan, becoming a cherished part of the 19th-century coinage. Production continued annually from 1878 to 1904, and a final striking occurred in 1921. In 2021, the US Mint revived both the Morgan and Peace Dollars, and now, in 2023, you have the opportunity to acquire 2023-S Proof Morgan Silver Dollars online, certified and ready for purchase from BGASC.

These 2023-S Proof Morgan Silver Dollar Coins are exceptional, graded as PR69. They exhibit full, original mint luster with at most two minor imperfections, typically minuscule contact marks or hairlines, away from the primary focal points. The First Strike designation signifies that these coins were submitted for grading within 30 days of their initial mint release.
Obverse
The obverse design of the 2023-S Proof Morgan Silver Dollar showcases a left-profile bust of Lady Liberty, designed by George T. Morgan. She dons a Phrygian cap, a coronet crown, and a laurel wreath in her hair.
Reverse
On the reverse, you’ll find Morgan’s original heraldic eagle designa forward-facing bald eagle clutching the arrows of war and the olive branch of peace, encircled by an oak-and-laurel wreath.
History
Throughout the history of Morgan Dollars, five branch mints played a role in striking these coins. Philadelphia and San Francisco consistently struck them each year. The New Orleans Mint issued the coins every year, except for 1878 and 1921. The Carson City Mint struck coins from 1878 to 1885 and again from 1889 to 1893 before closing. The Denver Mint only produced them in 1921.

All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
