Obverse
On the obverse of the 2024-S Proof Morgan Dollar Coin, Morgans iconic bust of Lady Liberty stands proudly. The image features Liberty with a Phrygian cap, a laurel wreath, and a coronet crown, encircled by 13 stars that represent the original American colonies.
Reverse
The reverse of the 2024-S Proof Morgan Silver Dollar showcases a heraldic eagle, designed by Morgan himself. The eagle is shown in full relief, with its wings spread wide and its talons gripping both arrows and an olive branch. The absence of the national shield gives the design a distinctive look, setting it apart from other eagle representations in US coinage.
History
The original Liberty design by George T. Morgan, which appeared on the silver dollar, has remained one of the most iconic coin designs in American history. The left-facing portrait of Liberty is shown wearing a Phrygian cap adorned with a wreath made of cotton and wheat. Morgan selected Anna Willess Williams, a schoolteacher from Philadelphia, as the model for this classic image of American beauty.

In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. Most BGASC orders are shipped within one (1) business day of your payment clearing. Payments made via PayPal clear instantly. Bitcoin payments clear instantly once the transaction is confirmed.
