The series debuted in the 1980s and includes both gold and silver coins with designs inspired by the 1921 Gold Centenario. In 2025, the mint reduced its output of Silver Libertads and did not issue any Gold Libertads. These changes have resulted in very limited mintages for 2025, which may influence future supply. Right now, certified 2025 1/4 oz Mexican Silver Libertad Coins are available from BGASC.

All 2025 1/4 oz Mexican Silver Libertad Coins listed here are in perfect condition. A Mint State 70 grade means the coin has its full original luster with no visible marks. With a mintage of only 100 coins, this release is one of the lowest produced in the series.
Obverse
On the obverse of the 2025 Mexican Silver Libertads is the Mexican coat of arms. The design shows a golden eagle perched on a cactus while grasping a serpent.
Reverse
The reverse of the 2025 1/4 oz Silver Libertad Coin features Winged Victory. This design, updated in 1996, presents a three-quarter view of the figure positioned on the Mexican Independence Victory Column in Mexico City.
History
The Mexican coat of arms has changed slightly across different historical periods while keeping its core elements. The current design, finalized in 1968, shows a golden eagle in profile with wings partially extended. The eagle holds a rattlesnake in its beak and talons while standing on a cactus that rises from a rocky area surrounded by water.

When the subtotal of your purchase, including applicable discounts, is $199 or more, you receive free shipping for your entire order. In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. All products are discreetly packaged and shipped with full insurance included.
Most BGASC orders are shipped within one (1) business day of your payment clearing. Payments made via PayPal clear instantly. Bitcoin payments clear instantly once the transaction is confirmed. Credit Card and bank wire payments process within 1 business day. ACH and paper check payments take 3-5 business days. Once payments are processed, products are released to fulfillment for packaging and shipping.
All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
