Obverse
The obverse of the 2025 Pitcairn Islands Gold Bounty Coin features a left-profile portrait of King Charles III. This design, created by Glyn Davies, presents an uncrowned depiction of the King and is among the early official portraits of him used on coinage.
Reverse
On the reverse of the 2025 1/4 oz Gold Bounty Coin, HMS Bounty is shown at full sail. The ship gained notoriety after the 1789 mutiny, when Bligh and 18 loyal crew members were cast adrift in a small boat. Despite the circumstances, Bligh managed to navigate over 3,600 miles to safety in Timor. Meanwhile, some of the mutineers escaped to Pitcairn Island, where they remained to avoid capture. Their descendants continue to live on the island today, preserving a unique cultural heritage influenced by both British and Polynesian traditions.
History

In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies.
