These coins, available in both silver and gold, are based on the classic Gold Centenario from 1921. BGASC now offers the 2025 1 Kilo Mexican Silver Libertad Coin for those interested in this iconic series.

All 2025 1 Kilo Mexican Silver Libertad Coins arrive with a protective capsule. This version was first introduced in 2008 and saw annual issues until 2012. After a short break in 2013 and 2014, the coin returned and has been released annually since.
Obverse
The obverse of the 2025 Silver Libertad displays a golden eagle with a snake in its beak, perched on a cactus. On coins that are 1 oz or larger, this central image is surrounded by ten older variations of the national seal.
Reverse
On the reverse side, the Winged Victory is depicted. This version of the statue first appeared in 1996 and shows the figure from a three-quarter view as she stands on the Independence Victory Column in Mexico City.
History
On the obverse side of the Libertad, youll find Mexicos national coat of arms. This design traces back to the 1534 Codex Mendoza, a document that recorded Aztec culture under Spanish rule. The earliest version portrayed an eagle on a cactus holding a snakean image tied to the founding legend of Tenochtitlan.

All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
