Beginning in the 1980s, the Mexican Libertad Series introduced both gold and silver coins with designs drawn from the 1921 Gold Centenario coin. BGASC now offers the 2025 1 oz Mexican Silver Libertad Coins for purchase.
Highlights:
Each 2025 1 oz Mexican Silver Libertad Coin is available in Brilliant Uncirculated condition and arrives in an individual protective flip. The Mexican Mint lowered output for the Silver Libertad series in 2025 and produced no Gold Libertad coins. These changes led to the lowest mintages yet for BU Silver Libertads, giving this release potential collector appeal. Please note that these are spotted specimens. Known as milk spots, this type of marking appears as white or cloudy spots from the minting or handling process.
Obverse
On the obverse of 2025 Mexican Silver Libertads, the design shows the Mexican coat of arms. The main image includes a golden eagle sitting on a prickly pear cactus with a serpent in its beak and talons. The 1 oz and larger silver coins feature this main emblem surrounded by 10 older versions of Mexicos national seal.
Reverse
The reverse side of the 2025 1 oz Silver Libertad Coins displays Winged Victory in a three-quarter view. First used in 1996, this design shows Victory on top of the Mexican Independence Victory Column in Mexico City, a major national landmark.
History
The central design on the Mexican Silver Libertad depicts Winged Victory, or Libertad, a well-known image in Mexican culture. This figure stands as a reminder of the nations fight for independence and its journey toward freedom after separating from Spain in the 19th century.

When the subtotal of your purchase, including applicable discounts, is $199 or more, you receive free shipping for your entire order. In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. All products are discreetly packaged and shipped with full insurance included.
Most BGASC orders are shipped within one (1) business day of your payment clearing. Payments made via PayPal clear instantly. Bitcoin payments clear instantly once the transaction is confirmed. Credit Card and bank wire payments process within 1 business day. ACH and paper check payments take 3-5 business days. Once payments are processed, products are released to fulfillment for packaging and shipping.
All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
