The story follows Luke as he joins Obi-Wan, Han, and Chewbacca to rescue Leia and deliver the Death Star plans to the Rebellion. During their escape, Obi-Wan faces his old student, Darth Vader, in a lightsaber duel and gives his life so the others can flee.
History
A New Hope tells the story of Luke Skywalker, a young man from the desert planet Tatooine who longs for a greater purpose. After acquiring droids C-3PO and R2-D2, he discovers a message from Princess Leia Organa of the Rebel Alliance. Leia has hidden stolen plans to the Empires Death Stara massive weapon capable of destroying planetsinside R2-D2. The message is meant for Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi.
