{{/presale}} {{#promotion_on}}The Legendary Warriors Series from Pinehurst Coins highlights figures from history and legend who are remembered for their leadership and battlefield achievements. Each coin in this 15-piece series is struck in 2 oz of .999 fine silver and features a high-relief finish that enhances the overall design. The collection honors warriors such as Achilles, Alexander the Great, Spartacus, Joan of Arc, Genghis Khan, Geronimo, Sitting Bull, Leonidas, Miyamoto Musashi, and Hannibal. Currently, certified 2025 2 oz Antique Niue Silver Miyamoto Musashi Coins are available at BGASC.
Highlights:
Each 2025 2 oz Antique Niue Silver Miyamoto Musashi Coin available here comes encapsulated in a certified slab with a Legendary Warriors label. An MS70 grade from the Numismatic Guaranty Corporation confirms a coin with full mint luster and no visible flaws. The antique polish gives the surface a slightly aged look, while selective 24-karat gold accents bring attention to key details. The high-relief strike adds dimension and texture to the artwork.
Obverse
The obverse design of the 2025 Antique Niue Silver Miyamoto Musashi Coin features the Public Seal of Niue encircled by a selection of historic weapons. Niue is a self-governing island nation in the South Pacific that maintains a free association with New Zealand. The country issues commemorative coins with legal tender status, supporting limited-edition releases like this one.
Reverse
On the reverse of the 2025 2 oz Antique Silver Miyamoto Musashi Coin, Musashi is depicted with two swords in hand. His influence extends beyond martial arts through his written work, The Book of Five Rings, which discusses strategy and philosophy. His dedication to constant learning reflected the idea of musha shugy, or a disciplined warriors path.
History
Miyamoto Musashi (c. 15841645) is widely recognized as a master swordsman and duelist in Japanese history. He reportedly fought in more than sixty matches without defeat. Musashi established the Niten Ichi-ry technique, a two-sword style that became part of his lasting legacy. He also emphasized the connection between combat, strategy, and mental focus throughout his life.
