It produces the well-known Mexican Libertad bullion series, which began in the 1980s. The coins in this series, available in gold and silver, borrow their design from the original 1921 Gold Centenario. Each 2025 2 oz Mexican Silver Libertad arrives individually packaged in a plastic flip and is available in Brilliant Uncirculated condition. In 2025, the Mexican Mint cut back heavily on the mintage of Mexican Silver Libertads and chose not to produce 2025 Mexican Gold Libertads. The mintage totals for BU Silver Libertads have dropped to levels never before seen in the program, setting the stage for long-term scarcity.
Obverse
The obverse side of the coin includes the national coat of arms of Mexico. The design features a golden eagle perched on a cactus while grasping a snake. On coins 1 oz and larger, the main seal is encircled by ten older versions of Mexicos national emblem.
Reverse
On the reverse, youll see Winged Victory as she appears on the Mexican Independence Victory Column. This version of the artwork was first used in 1996 for silver coins, showing a three-quarter view of the statue with a clear and dignified presence.
History
The symbol of Libertad, also called Winged Victory, plays a central role in this coin series. She stands as a symbol of Mexicos ideals, like freedom, justice, and independence. Her wings represent the ability to rise above limits and follow a self-determined path.

When the subtotal of your purchase, including applicable discounts, is $199 or more, you receive free shipping for your entire order. In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. All products are discreetly packaged and shipped with full insurance included.
Most BGASC orders are shipped within one (1) business day of your payment clearing. Payments made via PayPal clear instantly. Bitcoin payments clear instantly once the transaction is confirmed. Credit Card and bank wire payments process within 1 business day. ACH and paper check payments take 3-5 business days. Once payments are processed, products are released to fulfillment for packaging and shipping.
All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
