Obverse
On the obverse of the 2025 2 oz Reverse Proof Mexican Silver Libertad Coin, the modern national seal of Mexico is featured. The image shows a golden eagle turned to the left, clutching a serpent with its beak and claw. The eagle stands on a prickly pear cactus growing from a rock. Ten smaller historic versions of the national emblem surround this central seal.
Reverse
The reverse of the 2025 Reverse Proof Silver Libertad includes a detailed depiction of Winged Victory. She is shown in a three-quarter view, holding a laurel wreath in her right hand and a broken chain in her left. This image reflects a key symbol from Mexicos independence era and is set against a background that includes two notable volcanoes.
History
Reverse Proof Silver Libertads were introduced in 2015 and are available in three sizes: 1 oz, 2 oz, and 5 oz. The reverse proof finish gives the design a unique look, with frosted fields and mirrored elements. This version is different from the Antique Silver Libertads, which were only issued for a short time in 2018 and 2019.
Across the board in 2025, the Mexican Mint has drastically limited the mintage of its Mexican Silver Libertads, while deciding against issuing any 2025 Mexican Gold Libertads. Mintages for all BU Silver Libertads, in particular, represent unprecedented lows in the program’s history, a factor that is sure to create rarity for this date in the future.

In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. All products are discreetly packaged and shipped with full insurance included.
Most BGASC orders are shipped within one (1) business day of your payment clearing. Payments made via PayPal clear instantly. Bitcoin payments clear instantly once the transaction is confirmed. Credit Card and bank wire payments process within 1 business day. ACH and paper check payments take 3-5 business days. Once payments are processed, products are released to fulfillment for packaging and shipping.
All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
BGASC is only able to ship to addresses in any of the 50 US states. This includes P.O. boxes and APO addresses.
