The Canadian Gold Maple Leaf is one of the most respected gold bullion coins in the market. Since its first release in 1979, the series has grown to include many formats, including the smaller-sized MapleGram. Today, BGASC offers the 2025 25 Gram Canadian Gold MapleGram for purchase online.

Highlights:

  • Coins arrive sealed in a blistercard with an assay and protective outer sleeve!
  • Contains 25 individual 1 Gram Gold Maple Leaf Coins!
  • Includes 25 Grams (.8037 Troy oz) of .9999 fine gold in Brilliant Uncirculated condition.
  • Each coin has a $.50 (CAD) face value backed by Canadas government.
  • Obverse shows a portrait of King Charles III.
  • Reverse includes the classic sugar maple leaf.

Each 2025 MapleGram set includes 25 coins, with each coin individually sealed in a card and grouped together in a blistercard. This packaging includes an official assay card from the Royal Canadian Mint. Each coins sealed card is also marked with its own identifying details.

Obverse

On the obverse of 2025 Canadian Gold MapleGram Coins is a left-facing portrait of His Majesty King Charles III. This image was designed by Canadian artist Steven Rosati and is only the second Canadian-designed monarch portrait in the nations coin history. Charles III appears without a crown in this modern depiction.

Reverse

The reverse of every coin in the MapleGram continues to feature the familiar sugar maple leaf. This design was first created by Walter Ott in 1979 and has remained a key element of the Maple Leaf bullion series ever since. It appears on all versions of the coin, regardless of size or metal.

History

The 1 Gram Gold Maple Leaf was added to the series in 2014, rounding out the Maple Leafs lineup of sizes. The MapleGram format allows buyers to hold divisible amounts of gold in small, easy-to-store pieces. From its introduction until 2023, the coins displayed Queen Elizabeth II. Beginning in 2024, King Charles III became the featured monarch.
