A Certificate of Authenticity is included with every coin. The coin is incuse struck, meaning the design is pressed into the surface of the coin rather than raised.
Obverse
The obverse side of this silver coin includes a portrait of King Charles III. Created by artist Dan Thorne in 2024, this new design marks the kings first appearance on Australian coinage. The portrait shows him in left-profile without a crown.
Reverse
On the reverse, the 2025 Silver Kookaburra Incused Coin features a fresh image of a kookaburra perched in a tree. In addition to the main design, theres also a small privy that celebrates the 35th anniversary of the series by showing the artwork from the first release in 1990.
History
These birds like to live in forested areas near the coast and are especially drawn to eucalyptus trees, which are perfect for nesting and finding food. They eat insects, small reptiles, and sometimes even small mammals. Kookaburras are also known to thrive in suburban neighborhoods and farmland.

In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies.
