Each 2025 5 oz Niue Silver 90 Years of DC Golden Era Action Comics #1 Coin comes with a clear acrylic display, a DC Comics-themed presentation box, and a Certificate of Authenticity. These coins are struck with frosted, mirror-like finishes on rectangular blanks and enhanced with 24-karat gold gilding.
Obverse
The obverse of the coin features the coat of arms of Niue, also called the Public Seal of Niue. This design includes a circular emblem surrounded by seashells and native plant imagery, with a crown at the top representing Niues connection to the Commonwealth.
Reverse
On the reverse, youll find the cover of Action Comics #1, released in June 1938. This historic issue marked Supermans first appearance, launching the superhero genre as we know it. Created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster, the artwork shows Superman lifting a car, establishing many superhero tropes that endure today.
