{{/presale}} {{#promotion_on}}Since its debut in 1986, the American Silver Eagle has played a leading role in the United States Mints bullion offerings. For many years, the design remained consistent with no major additions. In 2024, that changed with the introduction of a privy mark on a BU coin. After the release of the Star Privy in 2024, the Mint followed up in 2025 with the Eagle Privy version. Right now, certified 2025 (P) 1 oz Eagle Privy American Silver Eagle Coins are available from BGASC.
Highlights:
All coins offered here are sealed in plastic slabs and certified MS70 by NGC. A Mint State 70 grade signifies a coin with complete mint luster and no visible flaws under magnification. These coins are labeled Advanced Release, indicating they were submitted to NGC before the coins official public launch.
Obverse
The obverse of the 2025 (P) Eagle Privy American Silver Eagle features the historic Walking Liberty design by Adolph A. Weinman. Liberty is shown striding toward the rising sun, draped in the American flag and holding oak and laurel branches. The eagle-in-flight privy appears in the lower-right portion of the obverse, offering a small design change to the familiar image. The bald eagle remains an important national emblem, widely associated with American heritage and identity.
Reverse
The reverse of the 2025 (P) 1 oz Eagle Privy Silver Eagle showcases Emily Damstras updated bald eagle design. Introduced in 2021, this left-facing eagle holds an oak branch in its talons with wings raised in a natural stance. The design reflects a modern interpretation while continuing the tradition of featuring the bald eagle on the Silver Eagle series.
History
The 2025 Eagle Privy Silver Eagle continues the newer tradition of including a privy mark on a BU issue. As just the second example of this type, it stands out within the broader series. Its maximum mintage of 500,000 coins places it among the lower-production BU Silver Eagles released over the years, giving collectors a limited option within a widely collected program.
