Highlights:
Each 2025-P 1 oz Proof Marine Corps Privy American Silver Eagle in this listing comes sealed in a slab and graded PF69. These near-perfect coins retain full mint luster and no more than two minor flaws. The UCAM (ultra-cameo) finish displays strong contrast between frosted images and mirrored fields, while Early Release means the coins were graded within 30 days of their release.
Obverse
The obverse showcases Adolph A. Weinmans 1916 Walking Liberty design, paired with the Marine Corps privy showing the eagle, globe, and anchor symbol. Adopted in 1868, this emblem represents national pride, global presence, and the Corps connection to the Navy.
Reverse
The reverse of the 2025-P 1 oz Proof Marine Corps Privy Silver Eagle shows Emily Damstras updated bald eagle design, added to the series in mid-2021. The eagle is captured in mid-flight, clutching an oak branch.
History
During World War I, the Marine Corps expanded significantly. The 4th Marine Brigade joined the U.S. Armys 2nd Division in several critical engagements. At Belleau Wood in June 1918, Marines fought a grueling three-week battle that became part of Marine Corps legendearning them the Devil Dogs nickname from German troops. They continued to serve with distinction at Soissons, Saint-Mihiel, and in the Meuse-Argonne Offensive.
