Formed from converted merchant ships, this first navy was tasked with disrupting British supply lines and protecting the coast. To celebrate the Navys 250th anniversary in October 2025, the United States Mint has issued a Proof Silver Eagle featuring a US Navy privy mark. Now, 2025-S 1 oz Proof Navy Privy American Silver Eagle Coins in certified condition are available online from BGASC.

Obverse
On the obverse of the 2025-S 1 oz Proof Navy Privy Silver Eagle Coin, Adolph A. Weinmans Walking Liberty is paired with the Navy privy mark. Liberty walks leftward, draped in the American flag. The privy mark shows a bald eagle grasping an anchor and facing forward.
Reverse
The reverse of the 2025-S Proof Navy Privy American Silver Eagle features Emily Damstras 2020 design of a bald eagle in flight. The eagles wings are spread wide as it clutches an oak branch, symbolizing strength and determination.
History
In the aftermath of the September 11, 2001, attacks, the Navy played a vital role in counter-terrorism operations, launching missile strikes in Afghanistan and offering carrier-based air support for combat missions. Aircraft carriers acted as mobile airbases, enabling extended operations in Afghanistan and Iraq. Navy SEALs carried out key missions, including the 2011 operation that led to the death of Osama bin Laden. The Navy also helped secure sea routes, fought piracy off the Somali coast, and maintained a global presence to ensure security and support allies.

All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
