The minting process begins with standard silver planchets that are tumbled in a drum with tiny steel balls and a polishing compound. This produces a smooth, satin-like surface that has become popular with collectors. Right now, certified 2025-W 1 oz Burnished American Silver Eagle Coins are available through BGASC.

Each 2025-W 1 oz Burnished American Silver Eagle Coin in this product listing has been certified at Mint State 69. This nearly flawless grade means the coin retains full original luster with only one or two small imperfections. Any marks or lines must be very subtle and away from the center of the design. The Early Release designation indicates that the coin was submitted to the NGC within 30 days of its release date.
Obverse
The obverse of the 2025-W Burnished American Silver Eagle showcases the Walking Liberty design by Adolph A. Weinman. Introduced in 1916, this classic artwork shows Liberty striding confidently toward the sunrise. Draped in the American flag, she stretches out one hand and carries oak and laurel branches in the other.
Reverse
On the reverse of the 2025-W Burnished Silver Eagle Coin is a modern image of the bald eagle. Designed by Emily Damstra, this version shows the eagle with its wings tucked as it descends with an oak branch in its talons, adding a sense of movement and purpose.
History
The image of Liberty has appeared on U.S. coins since the 18th century. Originally modeled on European classical designs, these depictions became more uniquely American over time, eventually representing the nation’s independent spirit and evolving identity.

In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. Most BGASC orders are shipped within one (1) business day of your payment clearing. Payments made via PayPal clear instantly. Bitcoin payments clear instantly once the transaction is confirmed. Credit Card and bank wire payments process within 1 business day. ACH and paper check payments take 3-5 business days. Once payments are processed, products are released to fulfillment for packaging and shipping.
All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
