Each of these 2025-W Proof Army Privy American Silver Eagle Coins is certified PF70 by NGC. This grade means the coin has no flaws visible under magnification and keeps its original luster. The UCAM label shows the contrast between its frosted designs and clear, mirror-like background. Coins with the First Day of Issue designation were received by the grading service within 24 hours of their release from the Mint.

Obverse

On the obverse of this 2025-W Proof Silver Eagle, Adolph A. Weinmans Walking Liberty is shown walking left with her arm outstretched. Behind her, the sun rises over the horizon. This version includes a special Army insignia in the lower-right field to mark the anniversary.

Reverse

The reverse side features a bald eagle in flight, a design introduced in 2020 by artist Emily Damstra. The eagle is seen with its wings outspread, holding an oak branch in its talons as it descends. This side also includes the W mint mark for the West Point Mint.

History

The First World War marked a turning point for the Army, with the United States sending a modern force to support the final stages of the conflict. Led by General John J. Pershing, the Army quickly expanded in size and played a critical role on the Western Front.
