Obverse

On the obverse of the 2026 1/10 oz Gold Philharmonic Coin, youll see the Musikvereins Great Pipe Organ. Built in 1872 by Friedrich Ladegast, this historic instrument has been updated and maintained for generations, keeping it at the heart of Viennas music scene.

Reverse

The reverse design brings together instruments from the Vienna Philharmonic. At the center sits a cello surrounded by four violins, while a harp, bassoon, and Vienna horn complete the arrangement.

History

The Vienna Philharmonic is one of Austrias most cherished cultural institutions. Beyond its music, it represents national pride, tradition, and a link between modern Austria and the great composers of the past.
