{{/presale}} {{#promotion_on}}The Royal Canadian Mint continues the Treasured Maple Leaf Series in 2026 with a new selection of reverse privy marks, giving the long-running Maple Leaf design a limited-edition twist. These coins still feature the familiar pairing of King Charles III on the obverse and the sugar maple leaf on the reverse. What makes Treasured Maple Leaf releases special is the combination of unique privy marks and strict mintage caps for each issue. Right now, 2026 1/10 oz Canadian Gold Treasured Maple Leaf Wolf Privy Coins are available at BGASC.
Highlights:
All 2026 1/10 oz Canadian Gold Treasured Maple Leaf Wolf Privy Coins are housed in sealed assay cards from the Royal Canadian Mint. The packaging features a Treasured Maple Leaf Series-themed design and includes a QR code for buyers to scan. That link leads to additional educational material online about bullion coins and the mints special privy-mark programs.
Obverse
On the obverse of the 2026 Canadian Gold Treasured Maple Leaf Wolf Privy Coins, youll see the first-generation effigy of King Charles III. Steven Rosati designed this left-facing portrait, and it marks only the second monarch image in Canadian history created by a Canadian artist. The king appears uncrowned, giving the design a straightforward and dignified look.
Reverse
The reverse of the 2026 1/10 oz Gold Treasured Maple Leaf Wolf Privy Coins displays the iconic sugar maple leaf introduced for the Maple Leaf bullion series in 1979. Walter Otts design shows the leaf in natural form with crisp lines and textured detail. A small Wolf Privy mark is placed to the left of the stem, clearly identifying this limited series edition.
History
Gray wolves have long been part of Canadas wild landscape, and they remain vital to the health of many ecosystems. As top-level predators, they help manage herds of large animals like deer, elk, moose, and caribou, which support plant life and overall habitat balance. While wolf numbers in the United States faced sharp declines in past decades, Canadas wide northern and western territories have allowed wolf populations to stay more consistent. Estimates today place Canadas wolf count around 50,000 to 60,000 animals.
