These 2026 1/2 Gram Pitcairn Islands Gold Lunar Year of the Horse Coins are presented in Brilliant Uncirculated condition and ship inside plastic flips. The 2026 mintage is notably smaller than that of the prior year, dropping from a limit of 5,000 coins to 1,000.
Obverse
The obverse of the 2026 1/2 Gram Gold Lunar Year of the Horse Coins features the first official effigy of King Charles III used on Commonwealth coins. Designed by Glyn Davies, the portrait shows the King in left-profile relief and without a crown.
Reverse
For the reverse of the 2026 Pitcairn Islands Gold Lunar Year of the Horse Coins, the mint illustrates a horse running through a forested area. Branches hang low around the animal, with traditional Chinese decorations suspended from the branches on the left side of the scene.
