Each 2026 1/2 oz Australian Silver Lunar Horse Coin comes in Brilliant Uncirculated condition. Single coins are sealed in capsules, while groups of 20 are in plastic rolls and groups of 100 come in boxes with five rolls. All coins have a small security element on the reverse that is visible only under magnification.
Obverse
The obverse of the 2026 1/2 oz Silver Lunar Horse Coin presents the first Australian effigy of King Charles III. Created by Dan Thorne, the left-facing portrait shows the king without a crown, reflecting a simpler style for the new monarchs image on coins.
Reverse
On the reverse, artist Ing Ing Jong depicts a graceful mare and her foal galloping through open grasslands with mountains in the background. Jong has contributed many designs to the Perth Mints Lunar Series since 2013, bringing detailed artistry to each release.
History
The Horse is seventh in the cycle of the Chinese zodiac. According to one legend, the Jade Emperor organized a race to set the order of the animals. The Horse, despite its speed, finished seventh after the Snake startled it by leaping from where it had hidden in its hoof.

In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies.
