All 2026 1/20 oz Canadian Gold Maple Leaf Coins are struck in Brilliant Uncirculated condition. Each coin is shipped in a protective flip, with sealed sheets of 40 available for bulk quantities. The Royal Canadian Mint first introduced the 1/20 oz coin to the Maple Leaf Series in 1993.
Obverse
The obverse of the 2026 Canadian Gold Maple Leaf presents the first Canadian effigy of King Charles III. This left-profile, uncrowned portrait by Canadian artist Steven Rosati represents just the third time a Canadian-created design has been used for a royal portrait.
Reverse
The reverse side of the 2026 1/20 oz Gold Maple Leaf showcases Walter Otts iconic sugar maple leaf. Since its debut in 1979, this design has remained the defining element of the Maple Leaf program across all metals, including gold, silver, platinum, and palladium.
History
Every year, sugar maple trees follow the same cycle. Leaves change color in autumn, then fall to the forest floor before winter. They eventually break down, returning nutrients to the soil, while bare branches remain until spring. The timing and vibrancy of these colors change each year depending on the weather and local conditions.

In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. Credit Card and bank wire payments process within 1 business day. ACH and paper check payments take 3-5 business days. Once payments are processed, products are released to fulfillment for packaging and shipping.
All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
